high school racing page

The EGRHS Racing Crew is a school year program for grades 9-12.  EGR Crew runs a fall season beginning mid-late August and generally competing in 4 area Regattas.  Spring racing season begins in early March and runs through May competing in 4-6 regattas.  Some boats may qualify for Nationals and race during the first few weeks of June.  Winter training takes place indoors with strengthening, aerobic conditioning, yoga and rowing practice.  Athletes can choose to participate in Fall Season, Spring Season or both.

8th Grade Spring Visit

EGR Crew visits the 8th grade gym class every spring for an informational FAQ and tour of the boathouse.  Our rowers are there to answer questions and tell you all about the sport and the opportunities ahead.  Look for us in May!
